HELP US KEEP CHILDREN IN SCHOOL AND SAFE

Children in Yusufari LGA, Yobe State, continue to face serious barriers to education and protection. For many families, poverty and difficult living conditions make it challenging to provide basic school needs, while insecurity and deeply rooted social norms further limit children’s access to education, particularly girl-child.

Similarly, children remain vulnerable to child labour, early marriage, trafficking, abuse, exploitation, and neglect. These challenges rob children of their childhood, interrupt their education, and limit their chances of building a secure and independent future.

What We Are Doing

At Hope for Street Children & Vulnerable People Foundation (HOPLE), we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and live safely.

Through our work in Yusufari, we are seeking support to:

1. Provide school supplies and educational assistance to vulnerable children.
2. Support scholarships and school enrolment/retention, especially for children from vulnerable households.
3. Promote and support girls’ education and continued learning.
4. Raise awareness of child protection, child labour, early marriage, trafficking, abuse, and exploitation.
5. Strengthen community-based child protection and connect vulnerable children and families with appropriate support services.

Your Support Can Change a Child’s Story

A donation can mean school materials for a child who would otherwise attend school empty-handed, support for a girl at risk of dropping out, or protection and assistance for a child facing abuse or exploitation.

We cannot do this alone.

Your contribution today can help a child in Yusufari and beyond to stay in school, stay safe, and have a better chance and a brighter future.

Together, we can break the cycle of poverty and vulnerability and ensure that every child in Yusufari has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
