Overcoming pandemic, moving forward

Thank you for your continous support. COVID-19 pandemic has spread throughout Japan after the Tokyo Olympics. Number of infected have increased rapidly and the government have raised the alert level. In October, all alerts were lifted throughout Japan people are trying to go back to their normal life.
In summer, we have organized one week program for children. Increasing number of children as well as the length of stay from 2020, we were able to provide sustainable learning opportunities to over one hundred and thirty children who have gathered from all over Japan. Professionals like chefs and artists are back to provide creative learnings. Also, university students are back to support our program as well as the center's operations. Children seemed to miss nature more than before.
The town of Ogatsu is slowly moving towards brighter future. Ogatsu Garden Park, a project creating agricultural park in the coastal area where tsunami desstroyed ten years ago is in place. Local government is placing new soil in the costal area. This will be the first project to reconstruct costal area in Miyag i and Iwate. We are going to create organic sustainable farm in order to create brighter future for children as well as for the town. We hope this park will show rersilience of Tohoku.
Hoping the people who have infected will recover, and the pandemic all over the world will be contained soon. We need your support to keep MORIUMIUS survive this pandemic, so that we will be able to keep providing sustainable learning for children and to revitalize community from disaster.
