ICAP Alumni Give Back!
For the past several years, ICAP Alumni Association has partnered with Global Kids DC Summer Institute to offer “Career Day”, an afternoon of speed mentoring. ICAP Fellows who have partnered with this outreach project in the past have found it to be “enjoyable and rewarding”, and “rejuvenating”. This year, ICAP Alum were able to partner with Global Kids DC on Monday July 24th, right before their trip to South Africa that concludes the Summer Institute. For some of the youth it would be their first time abroad, this was an amazing opportunity for ICAP Alum to answer questions about traveling abroad and share personal and professional experiences working in international affairs.
