We're pleased to announce that the 2012 Protege Project will for the first time include a Protege composer. This exciting new aspect of the program will give our 2012 Proteges the opportunity to collaborate with an emerging young composer to perform several new works in a number of concert settings. Our Protege composer in residence will be Katerina Kramarchuk: born in Moldova, raised in Oregon, and now studying at the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music. We're looking forward to welcoming Katerina to CMNW for her festival debut this summer! For Katerina's biography and recorded clips of her compositions, please visit http://www.katerinakramarchuk.com/
