Project Report | Dec 20, 2024
Next year 60 new students will join the program!

By Sari Bernardo | Executive Director

Dear Friend,

The Social and Economic Integration Program (SEIP) is one of ECI´s flagship programs, providing much needed opportunities for youth (females in particularly) to receive vocational training and work experience.

We are delighted to inform that in 2025 ECI will be able to provide this training for 30 youth in Kabul and 30 in Nangarhar province, who are refugees and/ or returnees with disabilities. Priority will be given to female students.

Thanks to your support in 2024, ECI has been able to vet many workplaces and train them to be welcoming for persons with disabilities, while respecting their rights fully. In addition, we have been able to expand the program in a way, that in 2025 we can welcome the first 30 students for vocational training in Nangarhar province, where many returnees/ refugees are based.

With sincere gratitude, we want to thank you for your interest towards our work, and for your support for females with disabilities in Afghanistan. It is people like you, who truly motivate us.

Wishing you a wonderful end of the year, and all the best for the New Year 2025!

Best wishes,
ECI Team
