The Housing Support Program provides the counseling and support that our residents need to become healthy and stable in housing. These special services include one-on-one case management.
There are over 8,000 homeless people each night in the Seattle area living on the streets or staying in shelters. Nearly 800 homeless adults are on Plymouth’s waiting list, with an average wait of 16-20 months. As a housing organization, Plymouth is unique because we work to lower the barriers to housing, providing homes to those who have no other options.
When chronically-homeless people coming into housing from the street, they are in need of medical services, one-on-one case management, chemical dependency counseling, and socialization counseling. Our trained staff works to keep residents stable.
Plymouth has been providing homeless housing for over 30 years. We have been recognized both locally and nationally and 85% of our residents remain in housing after two years.
