Kalo Telema operates an orphanage which aims to give love, compassion and care for orphaned and abandoned children, the extremely vulnerable children. We provide them with food, clothing, and we intervene in the payment of the costs for their medical care. The situation is extremely difficult due to lack of adequate resources; we cannot accommodate all the children that we take.
There are more than 500 orphaned and abandoned children in Kalo for many reasons including the death of parents, neglect or victims of parental abuse. We have problems with housing, food, medical care, clothing and beds. We want to build a vocational school to teach them skills and how to learn a trade to support them. Your money will encourage our running initiatives.
Kalo Telema provides nutrition, housing, clothing and health care for orphaned and abandoned children. We want to provide them with vocational training to ensure their future by learning a trade. The funds will cover the above costs and hidden costs for the care of these abandoned children. We cannot help every abandoned child, but together we can ensure a better future.
The project will accommodate a large number of vulnerable children to offer them health and wellbeing and also enable them to learn a trade to secure their future and to become autonomous. Then they will contribute to the development of their community. This will help reduce in the future the growing rate of this phenomenon of abandoned children.
