Dear Donor,
El Shaddai's House of Hope provides a safe, caring, and supportive environment for women facing difficult and vulnerable circumstances. The programme focuses on their safety, protection, health, emotional well-being, personal development, and empowerment.
During the reporting period, the House of Hope continued to focus on the overall well-being and development of the women staying at the shelter. Residents received a safe place to stay, nutritious meals, healthcare support, emotional care, guidance, and opportunities for personal growth. Regular individual support, encouragement, and mentoring helped women strengthen their confidence, self-esteem, and sense of responsibility towards their lives and future.
Life skills and personal development sessions helped women develop practical skills such as decision-making, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, responsible behaviour, and managing everyday challenges. These activities encouraged women to become more confident, independent, and better prepared to make positive decisions about their future.
The House of Hope also provided opportunities for recreation, interaction, and positive social engagement, helping residents build supportive relationships and experience a sense of belonging and community. Individual guidance helped women identify their strengths, address personal challenges, and work towards greater stability and independence.
El Shaddai continued to work closely with caregivers, community stakeholders, and other support networks to ensure that women received the appropriate care and opportunities needed to rebuild their lives. The programme seeks to provide each resident with dignity, respect, security, and the encouragement needed to move forward.
Through the House of Hope, El Shaddai continues to provide more than a place to stay; it provides a safe home filled with care, dignity, acceptance, and hope. By supporting women in their health, emotional well-being, personal development, and journey towards independence, the programme helps them regain confidence, recognise their potential, and look forward to a more secure and hopeful future.
Together, we are creating a home where every woman can experience safety, dignity, care, and new opportunities.
With gratitude,
The El Shaddai Family
