This project will build a girl's dormitory and a boy's dormitory at HOTPEC Orphanage in order to provide the children living at the orphanage a better living and learning environment. Currently, HOTPEC struggles to provide each child with the personal space they need to excel; however, with this additional dormitory, the children will be able to reach their full potential.
Due to the rise in numbers of orphaned, abandoned, and handicapped children under HOTPEC's care, there is a need at HOTPEC for new dormitories. Currently, the children at HOTPEC must share beds and have little personal space. The current living arrangement is strenuous on the children at HOTPEC and makes it challenging for them to excel.
With the addition of a girl's and a boy's dormitory the children, especially those attending secondary and vocational school, the children will have some personal space for themselves and will have a good environment with which to learn.
With the new dormitories, the children at HOTPEC will be able to maximize their academic and individual potential. This opportunity will lead to self reliant productive members of society. The dormitories themselves will be house not only the current generation of HOTPEC children, but also the younger children as they age and future children who will come under HOTPEC's wing.
