Our Night Of Stars!
On June 15, we successfully held our 24th Graduation Ceremony 2023, celebrating the remarkable achievements of our 62 graduates from Class 37, 38, and ‘Her Turn’ 6.
800 guests, including graduates, sponsors, partners, families, and alumni, gathered at the glamorous grand ballroom of Almaz Convention Center to witness this special moment in the lives of our graduates. After two years of comprehensive training, commitment, and hard work, they have realised their dreams and secured a stable future. Seeing them on stage receiving an international certificate from the Box Hill Institute was an incredibly moving moment. We thank them for their resilience, hard work, determination, and positive attitude.
Our graduates’ achievements not only inspire us, but also reaffirm our commitment to creating a positive change in society.
Van Mieu - A Stunning New Dining Experience
The same heartwarming experience is now at our new location 35 Van Mieu Street, Hanoi.
Still the KOTO Van Mieu we know and love, but now offering guests an even better experience. The same great people, exceptional food, friendly service, and worthy cause. For us, KOTO Van Mieu restaurant is not only a place to generate revenue to support our non-profit training program, but also a place where the skills they have learned can be practiced in a real-life environment like the ones they will soon join upon their graduation.
KOTO Van Mieu is marketed as our ‘flagship’ restaurant, and this is where most of our trainees received their start. We hope to welcome you soon!
Class 42 Begin Their KOTO Journey
KOTO’s Class 42 have just completed the orientation phase of their program. This class of 24 students has undertaken a range of activities. These include restaurant and hotel visits and practical training sessions to determine whether they wish to major in Front of House Hospitality or Commercial Cookery.
Class 42 will spend the next 18 months studying at KOTO Training Centre, and gaining practical experience at KOTO’s new restaurant located at 35 Van Mieu. KOTO is looking forward to continuing to work with this class and seeing all the wonderful things they achieve through the program.
As part of this class, there are also 8 women participating in the 'Her Turn: Women’s Economic Empowerment Program'. This intake of the Her Turn Program is a very diverse class, from 6 different provinces and 5 different ethnicities.
We would like to thank our dedicated supporters of the Her Turn Program - the Australian Government and Der Touristik.
