We are thrilled to share that after a successful three-month trial, we have officially purchased Rumi!
Rumi is a 10-year-old, 13.2-hand Quarter Horse/Welsh cross pony who came to us all the way from New Jersey, where she was a children’s pony.
When we first saw Rumi advertised, one description immediately caught our attention: “the sweetest pony.” We were drawn to her kind, honest nature and the fact that she loves attention and children. We knew these qualities could make her a wonderful addition to our herd, and Rumi has certainly lived up to her description as a barn favorite!
Since joining Equine-Assisted Therapies of South Florida (EATSF), Rumi has already participated in all four of our programs: Hippotherapy, Therapeutic Riding, Unmounted Horsemanship, and Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy. She is already helping create meaningful connections and special moments for the people we serve.
We believe that a horse’s kindness, patience, and gentle spirit can make a lasting impact. Rumi has so much to offer, and we are excited to watch her continue to grow and thrive in her new home.
Rumi has a bright future at EATSF, and we feel so fortunate to have her as part of our herd!
