Since 1990, we have helped more than 12,600 low-income girls, boys and young people who suffer from cancer in Mexico. With your help, we can continue to do so for the 1,200 children we have in active treatment and the 4,800 children we have in present remission.
In Mexico, child cancer is the leading cause of disease-related death among the little ones. Each year, around 5,000 new cases are diagnosed and the survival rate is less than 50%. However, if detected, diagnosed and treated on time -and consistently-, it can be mostly curable.
We strive to meet 4 guidelines: timely detection, early care, proper treatment and treatment fidelity. With you donation, we can strengthen the second one and provide special studies, medicines, prostheses and endoprotheses.
Increase the survival rate of low-income girls, boys and young people who suffer from cancer in Mexico, by providing a custom-made, comprehensive and free of cost treatment. "Where you live in the world, should not determine whether you live in the world." -Bono
