Support a granny, there are no care takers for me, my son and daughter-in-law and grandchildren left me as I became old and unproductive. This old age home has given me shelter and taking care of me. There more than 25 grannies like me. Your kind support is allowing me to have quality food and medical care.
A have new friends now, with the kind support I am feeling happy. Medical check and medication were provided and quality food is provided daily. These old people need lot of care taking.
VMM is supporting30 agedwomenat Gosala with basicneeds, food, shelter andclothingand medication, as thegrannies aretoo old majorityofthem face health problems. Theaged persons arehighlytraumatized in situations,theyneed continuous counseling, depression and loneliness arekeyissues, therewereaddressedthrough
counseling andgroup discussions on topics related to them, which everyone can sharetheir view, which builds confidenceamongtheaged that theirwords aretaken into consideration.
Regularhealth camps forhealth check bymedicaldoctor, medicines are also provided, the grannies usuallyfeel thattheyneed asupport ofword and caretakingduringtheirlast days of life. Theuniqueness ofourold agehomeis thehomeis foronlygrannies no grandfathers. Simple reason majorityofthegranniesare
thrown out theirhouseswhen theybecameold ortheybecomeunproductive. Theyneed shelter, food duringtheirlast days oflife.The youngestageofthegrannies is 62years and eldest is around 85years
