Life with COVID 19, we heard about pandemic that has happened in the past from news, but we are now we are in pandemic situation. Life with COVID was totally devastated. We sincerely convey our thanks for the kind support that you have made for us. During lockdown and post lockdown we were completely isolated as donors were unable to come to us to spend time with us due to COVID. Hope the conditions are better at your families and in your places. we were scared to see the news about COVID.
During the pandemic we learnt to use sanitizer, hand wash with soap, use of mask, sitting at distance from each others. it was very hard task for elderly people like us, but we are continuing as per the instruction by the medical staff from government.
We at this old age home tested for COVID, fortunately we all were found negative.
With the kind support we were able to have good meals everyday. We expect the same support in future from you to keep us alive.

Grannies with face mask and social distance
We are very happy for kind support by you. The world became pandemic with corona virus, in our place the rapid increase in positive corona virus more than 1000 cases, we at home are very panic and information about the disease was dynamic. During this lockdown situation we were in most vulnerable position, as the virus transmission may happen due to outer coming and supporting us. We are following hand washing with soap or hand wash regularly, masks and keeping our beds at more than one meter distance.
Due to lockdown the transportation became very difficult, the necessary food items for use was unable to reach. In this situation also we feel happy for the kind support and concern towards us. VMM is supporting with medicines through donors like you, the government has provided rice through public distribution system for our home during lockdown. We are all safe with your good wishes.

Grannies are happy with your kind support

We will require elder people in the family when they are productive, when they became old and need support we try to leave them in old age homes. 30 grannies are getting support through the project with kind support from you. They need medical care, food, psychosocial and moral support. Which they are lacking from their children. We provide extensive medical support through regular medical check by Doctor and periodical check-ups for blood pressure, eye check-up, medicines were provided based need of granny.
The old grannies are in the age group of 59 to 90 years, the grannies were provided daily entertainment of watching news channels, newspapers and some little yoga for their wellbeing. Grannies expect love and affection from their children, regular interaction by our social workers will support the grannies to an extent.
All the grannies with wet eyes conveys their sincere thanks for the kind support, request you to continue support for them.
