HOPE school was invited to participate in the Inter School Exhibition " Dream Madras 2020 " conducted by United Way Chennai in Anna University on 24th August 2017. HOPE School was one amongst 100 schools to participate in this exhibition. A team of 5 students from VIII and IX Std  along with 2 teachers presented the model to the guests. It was a learning experience for the students as well as an opportunity to display their talent in front of guests and invitees from different fields

On another occasion,

HOPE school was invited to participate in Jawaharlal Nehru Science Exhibition 2017-18 conducted by Education Dept at Division Level on 31st August & 1st Sept 2017 in Chengalpet and the school bagged the 1st prize.

Students from 6th to 9th Std created the model of “Faster communication with Safe & Pollution Free Streets

"

All the students took lots of interest and efforts in gathering the information to come up with this model. The model spoke of having a pollution free streets with rain harvesting channels, air ambulance with a blood bank, display boards on foot over bridges to let the commuters know of traffic jams, hydraulic car parking zones, separate track for Ambulance, fire engines, police patrolling team etc..

All credit goes to the students as they were the ones who came up with this model Teachers facilitated the process. Students made efforts right from brain storming for ideas to bringing the raw material required to put up the show was incredible.

One cannot and should not underestimate the power of knowledge in underprivileged children. They too are blessed with innovative and creative skills and we need to chisel it and channelize it to bring out the best in them.

We thank all the donors who stand with us and support us in developing the students of HOPE School to become the future scientists, engineers, doctors etc…
