Breakfast Distribution by Kelloggs & United Way

                             “Breakfast is the important meal in a day “

 

On the occasion of World Food Day 2014, Kelloggs India Private Limited a food producing company and its CSR partner United Way of Mumbai jointly organised the Kellogg's breakfast campaign with help of HOPE foundation in 5 government

schools of Chennai. It was aa attempt made to make the children realise the importance of eating the important meal of the day.A total of 3437 children were served breakfast in 5 different schools.

  Feedback from the Students:

 Rajesh a 9th standard boy said that through this program he learnt the important of having breakfast now onwards he would try to take breakfast regularly. He said Kellogg's is very tasty that he is thankful to Kellogg's and HOPE foundation for having prodied such a nutritious breakfast.

 Gowtham an 8th standard student from Thandalam Government Higher Secondary School, Sriperambattur said he liked the breakfast very much. He also enquired about the cost so that if it was affordable we would buy and have it daily.

 HE thanked HOPE foundation for choosing their school for distribution of Kellogg's breakfast. He said some of the students cannot afford breakfast because of poverty but this program gave awareness to the children on importance of breakfast and to have breakfast every day.

 She thanked Kellogg India Private Limited for distributing healthy breakfast. She

also said it is a light breakfast for the children . She lot of children are very poor &

cannot afford proper breakfast but by this program they got an opportunity to eat a healthy breakfast and the students enjoyed the healthy breakfast

Conclusion

 This program made the children happy they also learnt the Importance of taking breakfast. The children felt boosted after eating the breakfast. Most of the children were eating Kelloggs for the first time and were very happy and delighted.
