Bringing HOPE...Changing LIVES

News from the Sports Desk… HOPE foundation Matriculation High School is established in Kannaginagar, Chennai and is known to be biggest resettlement colony in Asia. Children studying here come from a very difficult background, where abuse of any form is very common. Catering to these kids is a constant challenge as a minor distraction is enough for the children to lose interest in studies. Holistic development of the children is our motto and sports & games play a crucial role in building the students. We are very proud to share a few achievements of the students who participated in the under 14 (junior category) at the district level Kabaddi competition. Girl’s team brought home the Winner’s Trophy and gold medals while boys team had to be happy with the Runners Up trophy and silver medals. This news was captured in the Dinamalar, local newspapers and it gave a tremendous boost to the students who participated in this competition. Apart from Kabbadi, 109 students also participated in a chess competition, volleyball, kabbadi, Kho-Kho, short put, discus throw, jawline, Triple jump, long jump, Hurdle race, and Ball badminton. It was an excellent opportunity for the students to represent the school at the district level in another school premises. All the students displayed an excellent behaviour and sportsman spirit. It was a different exposure for the students.

All this has been made possible only because of your continued support towards the HOPE School.

We strongly believe that, if the energies and the talents of the students of our school is properly channelized, they sure will come out victorious in their lives and your support in providing them a wonderful future, free of any kind of abuse, addiction, crime and violence is very crucial. Once again thank you so much for your generosity which keeps us motivated in continuing to provide quality education and “Bring HOPE .. Change Lives” of the children in need.
