Hope for Syria's Orphans: Nurturing Futures, Build

By Alaa Arhemo | Programs Manager

As of now, the project Hope for Syria's Orphans: Nurturing Futures, Build - #64131 has not received any financial contributions. Despite the absence of funding, Salam Humanitarian Foundation (SHF) remains committed to supporting orphaned children in Northwest Syria.

Our team continues to advocate for the urgent needs of orphaned children, focusing on providing psycho-social support, education, and basic needs. We have integrated some of the project’s goals into other ongoing SHF initiatives to ensure that orphaned children are not left behind. For example:

  • Psychosocial Support: Orphans have been included in the regular psychosocial support sessions provided at SHF’s centers, where individual and group counseling is ongoing.

  • Basic Needs: Although the specific campaign has not received funding, SHF has redistributed limited resources from other private donations to provide essential items (e.g., food baskets and clothing) to some orphaned children.

  • Advocacy and Outreach: We continue to share the campaign across SHF platforms to raise awareness and seek partnerships or donations.

We sincerely hope that future support will allow us to implement the full scope of the project as planned. In the meantime, our commitment to Syria's orphans remains steadfast, and we will continue exploring all avenues to nurture their futures with dignity and care.
