The Salam Humanitarian Foundation has not yet used the platform funds to pay for the orphans' sponsorships. We collected $444 from the orphans' campaign, and on August 27, we received $500 from the platform for all campaigns.
Here is a report on the activities for the orphans at the foundation:
August 3, 2024: We provided monthly sponsorships for 15 orphans who were not previously sponsored by any other organization. The sponsorship amount was $50 per child.
August 10, 2024: We welcomed the orphans to the foundation's center, where we provided psychological support sessions, organized recreational activities, distributed gifts and symbolic toys, and then returned them to their homes.
August 18, 2024: We took them to the swimming pool and participated in a swimming activity in Qorqanaya.
We also communicate with them through WhatsApp groups to share activities and check on their well-being.
The Salam Humanitarian Foundation aims to continue supporting these orphans and to expand the scope of assistance to include more children in need of care. Children who have lost their parents in this war are the most vulnerable in northwest Syria, where lack of sponsorship can lead to
