This Easter, the Hope and Joy Project in Uganda brought meaningful impact and heartfelt connection to vulnerable communities, thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors and the dedication of our volunteers.
Food Baskets Delivered
Through the tireless efforts of our volunteer team and your continued support, we successfully distributed over 50 food parcels to elderly individuals and their caretakers. These parcels provided essential staples — including rice, meat, a bunch of Matooke/green Banana, Bread, Sugar, Salt, cooking oil, and soap — to help sustain households during the Easter holiday.
Reaching the Most Vulnerable
Our focus this season was on reaching those who are often forgotten: the elderly living alone, widows, and families without regular sources of income. Thanks to your contributions, we were able to ensure that these individuals did not go without food during a season that symbolizes hope and renewal. With food on every plate and warmth in every heart, we turned compassion into action.
GlobalGiving Platform Impact
We are especially grateful for the increased reach we achieved through the GlobalGiving platform. This partnership helped us connect with supporters from around the world, expanding our ability to provide food security to more households than ever before.
