Expanding Hope and Healing Through Community Training

By Siobhan C | VBV Leadership

Over the past several months, Visioning Beyond Violence has continued building the foundation to expand our community-based training programs.

We have been developing and strengthening our facilitator training curriculum, creating new educational resources, and refining the tools that support community leaders in leading healing-centered workshops and dialogues. These efforts are designed to equip facilitators with practical, trauma-informed approaches that help communities explore the root causes of violence, build connection, and inspire collective action.

At the same time, we have continued sharing our work through community events and educational programming, creating opportunities for participants to experience the power of art, storytelling, and dialogue as tools for healing and prevention.

As we prepare for our next round of facilitator trainings, we remain committed to expanding access to this work and empowering more community leaders to bring these conversations into their own schools, neighborhoods, and organizations.

Thank you for following our journey and helping us build communities where healing, creativity, and connection can thrive.
