Over the past year, the Hoopsfix Foundation has continued to grow basketball opportunities across the UK through events, community programmes, and the revitalisation of outdoor courts. Thanks to the support of our donors, we have been able to bring hundreds of players, fans, and young leaders together while also improving the spaces where the game is played.
In 2025 we hosted the 11th Hoopsfix All-Star Classic, one of the UK’s premier basketball showcases, alongside the Basketball Development Conference, which brings together coaches, organisers and leaders working to grow the game. Our Hoopsfix Pro-Am Summer League also returned for its fifth year, featuring eight men’s teams and four women’s teams competing across five weeks in London while providing valuable experience for young referees, table officials, media creators and event staff. We also delivered the Jordan Wings Camp, a leadership-focused camp for under-16 girls in London that used basketball as a platform to build confidence, identity and leadership skills.
Alongside our programme delivery, we continued investing in basketball infrastructure. We completed the refurbishment of the iconic Brighton Beach basketball court, which has since been recognised with the SAPCA Small Project of the Year award, transforming the court into a vibrant and welcoming destination for the local community. We also completed and launched Turnpike Lane basketball courts with our partner Access Sport. Work is also underway on the revitalisation of Hackney Downs basketball courts, which will feature new artwork and improved playing surfaces ahead of its launch in summer 2026.
To support the growth of basketball storytelling and media in the UK, the foundation also signed a lease on a new office and studio space in London, which will be developed into a basketball creator hub for content production, collaboration and community engagement.
