By Margot Hird | President
Like many charities these days, Angels Way was recently looking at a prudent reserve being quickly eroded by the economy and the very real possibility that we might have had to shutter the doors. Thanks to the open hearts of many donors we will be able to remain open as a beacon to these women in desperate circumstances.
We thought the best way to report to the “owners” of the home (you) would be in the residents’ own words:
“You don’t even know how much I miss you. I want to thank you so much for making me feel better about myself and that there was a so much better place than where I was before I came to Angels Way. And when I came there, you showed me the most important things in life. I love you very much.”
~ Candice, ex-resident now living independently
