The Kids, Staff of Save The Children Alliance Orphanage and the Limbe community wish to express their sincere gratitude to the GlobalGiving team and all thier donors for the great success they achieved during the Last April Open Challenge on GlobalGiving.Though we did not meet up with both threshold levels of raising up $5000 with 40 individual donors, the GlobalGiving team was so impressed with our perfomance and decided to maintain us as permanent partner to continue raising funds for our projects on the GlobalGiving website.
So far, we succeeded in raising up $2340 with 17 individual donors during the last Challenge. This money is been disbursed during this June to buy cement, sand, gravel and sea wall. We are currently using volunteer labor from the staff of the orphanage and the community to floor the new building of the orphanage.
We hope to finish flooring the orphanage which will permit us to raise up the deck to complete the first floor so that the kids might move in as soon as possible. We hope that our potential and prospective donors will continue to donate as we carry on the building.
