The Kids,Staff Of Save The Children Alliance Orphanage and the Limbe community wish to express sincere gratitude to the GlobalGiving Team and all donors for the success achieved during the last April Open Challenge in GlobalGiving.Though we did not meet up with both threshold levels of raising up $5000 from 40 individual donors,the GlobalGiving team was so impressed with our perfomance during the Challenge and decided to maintain us as permanent partner to raise up funds for our projects in the GlobalGiving website.
So far, we succeeded in raising up $2340 form 17 individual donors during the last Challenge.This money is been disbursed this June to buy cement,sand,gravel and sea wall to floor the new building of the orphanage.We aim to finish concreting the floor which will permit us to raise up the deck to complete the first floor so that the kids might move in as soon as possible.
We hope to receive more donations from our potential and prospective donors as we are currently using volunteer labour from the community and staff of the orphanage.
