Dear Benefactor,
Greetings from Margadarshi!!
It was a proud and happy days for the students throughout this quarter. Especially three of our students, Bhavani, Druthi and Rakshitha were eagerly waiting for their 2nd PUC results. We are very glad to inform that all of them passed with Distinctions. Above all, we would like to share with you the triumphant journey of a little genius Bhuvaneswari.
Bhupure, is a small village located in the Nagalmadaki Hobli in Pavagada Taluk, Tumkur District, where Bhuvaneswari was born to Srinivasan and Shilpa, on August 15, 2005, the first of two children. Her parents are both daily wage earners. First 4 months of Bhuvaneswari’s life was normal, when she was 5 months old she had fever and parents thought it was normal and did not do any treatment, until she was a year old, when they realised she is affected with cerebral palsy. It was a big shock to her parents, but due to their financial constraints, was not able to do any further treatment.
Bhuvaneswari’s parents wanted their daughter to study well, as they saw that as the means for her financial independence. They joined her in school, in their native place. In the meanwhile, Margadarshi identified her during one of the school visits and enrolled her in our support. In 2021, we provided all the support she needs to complete her 10th standard exam and to all our joy, she did really well and scored 552 marks out of 625 (88%). Since her parents has no means to send her for higher education, in their native place, Bhuvaneswari has joined our Residential Support at Bangalore. She has been admitted to the first pre-university course at RBANMS PU College, Bangalore.
Thanks to you for your continued support in reaching out to each and every girl at our Residential Care Support.
