Energy-efficient, sustainable & simply beautiful

Dear Supporters,

with this newsletter we would like to give you a brief update on what we have been working on during the last quarter We put quite a lot of time and effort into preparing for the actual season and the next actions this year. Since it is important to us, of course, as it is to many people, to treat resources with care and to ensure that we take responsibility in our projects for the carbon footprint we leave behind, we have worked on this important topic. In all current renovation projects, we therefore pay attention to which materials we use and where there could be opportunities to optimize the energy efficiency of our lodgings for families with children suffering from cancer. Especially with the completion of our large camp house, this was a special priority for us.

In order to bring the children recreating here even closer to nature, we have built raised beds. Even though our great facility for these children and their families is located in the middle of nature, we want to achieve with it to transmit knowledge about the different herbs and their use. Of course, the children and their families are allowed to use these herbs to enhance the food when cooking meals every day. For us, this is also a good initiative in terms of sustainability.

The topic of hair donation is becoming more and more popular and we now receive donations from all parts of the republic. More and more partner hairdressers join and so it is no wonder that the number of donations is growing steadily.

That's it from us for now. We will be able to report more in the next quarter. And as always, we thank you deeply for your support and we hope you will continue to support us by talking about our activities with your friends, relatives and work colleagues. Of course, we also appreciate any financial support as our projects continue and we have many more in the pipeline.

Thank you so much and take care!
