Q I / 2023 ACTIVITY REPORT

By Michael Hein | Association member

Dear Supporters,

Today we would like to provide a slightly different report, simply to remind you who we are and what the purpose of our actions are. The "Verein für krebskranke Kinder Harz e.V." has now been in operation since February 2011. We are the contact point for families and relatives of children suffering from cancer in the wider Harz region.

The support that these families can expect from us differs in a direct financial support, in the advice and support in general and in the further arranging of help. To make all this possible, we have had great projects for years that not only help us generate the financial resources, but also help us become more and more known far beyond the borders of the country (You can see the overview of these projects on the photo with the title "Our projects").

We are especially proud of our recreational complex "Am Bernsteinsee", where we have already enabled countless families to spend an unconstrained time. Having a little time off where you can care more about the family itself, rather than the cancer, is just priceless. The care and maintenance of this large facility is only possible because of the support of our volunteers and local businesses (Note for this our photo with the title: Active support).

Also our next "Maximilian Arnold-Wölfecamp" is fixed for this year. For the 5th time we will again invite up to 10 families with children suffering from cancer from August 17-20 and create memories through this unique event that will put a smile on the faces of the wonders for a long time (please notice the photo"Maximilian Arnold-Wölfecamp").

But all these actions would not be feasible if there were not people who support us, who believe in what we do. We know that these times are very difficult, we know that a war is raging in the heart of Europe and that the energy crisis is driving up prices. Nevertheless, we would like to ask you to remain our supporter, don't make it dependent on a certain amount, because every "€ or $" counts.

We thank you for your support so far and hope for your future support.

Thank you and take care!
