The Corona pandemic continues to drive our actions. The implementation of ongoing projects is somewhat decelerated by adherence to hygiene concepts. Regardless of this, we can report on some activities and are already looking forward to your feedback and hopefully your continued support.
But first some organizational information:
ANNIVERSARY GALA POSTPONED TO OCTOBER 15, 2021 - Due to the new Corona regulations, we unfortunately have to cancel our "Thank You Gala". It's postponed to the October 15th 2021, until then the purchased tickets retain their validity.
3.MAXIMILIAN ARNOLD WÖLFE CAMP - MAI 2021 NEEDS TO BE POSTPONED - Our "3rd Maximilian Arnold Wolves Camp" in cooperation with the Soccer club VfL Wolfsburg and the Jose Carreras Leukemia Foundation will take place again in fall 2021.

AND HERE THE FIRST INFORMATION ABOUT OUR CURRENT MEGA-PROJECT!
Since more than two families usually seek recreation at the same time at our from your supported facility @ Bernsteinsee, joint activities are becoming increasingly important. We have taken up the topic of sport, which is becoming more and more important in general, during and after cancer therapy, in order to give all family members the opportunity to be active regardless of the weather. For years now, sports and relaxation rooms have been set up in the children's cancer wards, with the hospitals in Hanover, Halle/Saale and Leipzig being particularly good exapmples. Now we want to expand our cooperation with sports therapists and offer the possibility to do sports independently and according to instructions, thus expanding the overall offer of our facility.
For this purpose, we will implement the structural actions from January to June 2021 to build up a location in which, on the one hand, treadmills, spinning bikes, as well as sports mats can be found and, on the other hand, a relaxation room, which will be usable as a mini-cinema and thus will be available for the family as another highlight.
And we have found a very special location, which have now found their place on the grounds of our recreation facility with great effort. A locomotive and a large wagon.Can you imagine how the children's eyes will light up when this project is finished and shines in all its glory?
Since we cannot realize our independent project alone after this Corona year and the failed necessary donations, we would be very happy if you could help us with the realization of the whole project and we could win and name you again as partners of the project. Therefore, we would be very grateful for any contribution. Help us, because this project is really very cost-intensive and the many actions we usually have to generate donations, unfortunately have to be cancelled in Corona times. We need you!
