José-Carreras Gala 2020 - December 12, 2019
In 2020 our society took part again at the 25th José Carreras Gala in Leipzig.
In addition to many German and international stars such as Herbert Grönemeyer, Peter Maffay, David Garrett, Maite Kellym of the MDR Children's & Youth Choir, Max Giesinger, PUR, Matt Simons, José-Carreras also performed live on the occasion of the 25th anniversary, which was happening live at the Exhibition halls in Leipzig.
The event generated donations of € 3,585,781.00, which should be used to fight leukemia diseases, for research purposes and to support our social projects.
Sewing campaign in the "Goldkind" Goslar fabric store - November 9, 2019
On Saturday, 12 sewing enthusiasts met and sewed pillows for 4 hours. The pillow shape corresponds to an angel. These pillows are guardian angel pillows for our project. These pillows are then sold at events and the money is made available again to social products.
Annual stand at the Wernigeröder chocolate festival "ChochoART!" - October 31st
In October last year, our sciety was represented again at the chocolate festival "chocolART" in Wernigerode. As every year, our stand was right next to the historic town hall building. At our booth you could, among other things, get the wonderful chocolate from "Wergona®" at a sensational price of only € 1.00 each. There was also the world's best French chocolate cake from the bakery and pastry shop "Silberbach". The money we earned is going to the association's work.
