June 2018 : When chemotherapy causes hair cancer in children with blood cancer, human hair wigs are required. A hair donation lowers the costs.
A hairdressing salon located in Wernigerode handed over for this purpose a donation to our "Association for children suffering from cancer Harz". An unusual donation transfer takes place regularly in Wernigerode. Instead of money or in-kind donations, it is cut hair that is donated to wigs for children with leukemia. Since March, we got 11 hair donations from this hairdressing salon. An great activity!

May 2018: Our project "Haus am Bernsteinsee" part of the association "Krebskranke Kinder Harz e.V." opened their holiday complex for different visitors. The visitors were able to inform themselves about the possibilities to spend a holiday together with their children suffering from cancer and also to make an appropriate reservation. In addition more than 100 bikers (all members of a local motorsport club) also visting our location "Haus am Bernsteinsee". It was not the first visit of this great association of motorsport enthusiasts and once again they handed over an incredible gift: they donated 11.111 Euro! Hard guys with a big heart for kids.
