School is back in session in full force! Students are excited for upcoming Semana Santa activities that will come to San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua in early April.
Students have been active learning ESL, gardening, music, yoga, leadership, environmental science, and more. They have taken their midterm exams for the semester, and BPP teachers are also working hard to provide them with extra homework and studying support for the schoolwork in their regular schools.
At our school in San Juan del Sur, local businesses have continued to sponsor Student of the Week dinners which incentivize students to optimize their performance and behavior in classes.
At our school in Escamequita, we have started a brand new garden at our new location and are anxiously awaiting the first rains of the season to nourish the soil and seeds.
29 sponsored students have been hard at work making Thank you cards and writing letters to their sponsors, which they will send at the end of the month. If you are interested in sponsoring a student, please let us know!
