Since our last report Better Family Foundation has been monitoring and evaluating the impact of our aggressive HIV/AIDS campaign which was recently launched in Fundong. After our campaign we are presently following up those who took part in the campaign to assess its impact on their lives and community.
This is done by re-testing those who were tested, checking their use of condoms as a preventive measure and checking if they are practising positive living habits. We also provide condoms and follow up healthy carriers to frequently get to their treatment centres and take their drugs as prescribed.
The excercise is yielding some positive resultsand we hope if this continues, this will reduce the prevailence rate of the pandermic in our community.
