During the last three months Better Family Foundation has embarked on aggressive HIV/AIDS campaign in Fundong in order to prevent and /or reduce the spread of the virus in this community. To achieve this objective posters were posted on most strategic positions around the town and hand bills given to bike riders to sensitize the population particularly the youths about the HIV/AIDS screening and testing.
To facilitate the screening and tesing excercise, Better Family Foundation used the money raised through Global Giving to hire the technical services of medical personnel from the Fundong District Hospital.
This campaign has been organized on every Fundong local market days and the services of peer educators have been employed on each campaign day to help orientate the people to testing venue. (See picture attached).
We thank all who contributed in what ever way to raise the required money for this activity.
