Have you heard about women with HIV?
Today we want to share the history of one woman who lives with HIV, when she was pregnant and received her diagnostics, she was full of fear, sadness, and anxiety, and above all, she was facing grieving processes due to the loss of her health and all the infidelities that surely surrounded the diagnosis she had just received.
She talks about her experience in La Casa de la Sal, A.C. She received physiological therapy and generated adherence process to medical treatment, she worked through her grieving process and managed to give birth to an HIV-free baby, in this moment she lives a life-free of gender violence, without discrimination and stigmatization associated with HIV diagnostics. Her family achieved food security and cohesion that allows them to prevent violence and new HIV infections.
Your donations contribute to increasing the life quality of 57 women with HIV, and attending mental health of women contributes to dismissing vertical transmission rates and gender violence.
