Dear Friends,
Hope you are well.
This is my second report, We have not been successful to raise a lot of funds through GlobalGiving for this program. This is a sensitive area of work and the crowdfunding especailly among the people we reachout to is not a suitable option for this. Luckily, some funding has been partially restored by our previous donor who stopped sponsoring us after the funding cuts. We will still keep this link alive and share updates in case there are new supporters.
During the funding cuts we have been able to sustain our core field team through reserve funds and your kind donations. This field staff carried out only reactive testing (meaning the provided testing when people approached us, before this we used to pro-actively reacout to returnee migrants to test them). We won't be able to share pictures of this testing because HIV testing is a very personal experience and people don't want to be photographed while being tested for it.
May God bless you all. Keep supporting us.
