ACDT has reached out to other partners - Kenya Communnity Development Foundation) to support some of our needy students in High school and Tertiary level training. Here is a brief profile of 3 of the students. In total 20 students have received support:
Profile of Anastancia
Anastancia (not her reais a dedicated and hardworking student recently admitted to Kisiwa National Polytechnic to pursue a Diploma in ICT Technician Course. She comes from a humble family background, and her parents’ limited means have made it difficult to support her education. Despite these challenges, Anastancia has demonstrated strong academic potential and a clear commitment to her studies. Supporting Anastancia through this opportunity will not only enable her to complete her education but also empower her to build a brighter future for herself and contribute positively to her community.
Profile: Levi
Levi is a determined and hardworking student, he successfully completed his secondary education with the support of a scholarship from the Kenya Community Development Foundation. He has been admitted to Machakos University to persue Civil Engineering Course. Coming from a financially challenged background, Levi has shown great resilience and motivation to excel academically despite numerous obstacles. He is now seeking support to further his studies at the university level, with the aspiration of becoming a Civll Engineer who can give back to his community and uplift his family.
Profile: Melyne
Melyne is a bright and focused student who sat for her KCSE in 2024, achieving a B+ grade despite facing financial hardships. A partial orphan from a humble background, Melyne attributes her success to the support she received through the scholarship program. She has a strong passion for education and has applied to pursue a degree in Education Science at Masinde Muliro university of Science and Technology. Continued scholarship support will enable Melyne to realize her dream of becoming an educator and a role model to other disadvantaged learners.
