You Helped Lucy, Tiktok, & Many More, Walk Again

By Clara Nowak | UK Manager

Tiktok is now flourishing at TOLFA

Over the past four months, approximately 80 puppies have been recovering in the HDU, along with a significant number of cats, many of whom required special attention. From March to November tends to be a quieter period for puppies, so we have also utilized the HDU for smaller adult dogs who are recovering from amputations or dealing with paralysis and need extra care.

Two notable success stories in this regard are lovable dogs Lucy and Tiktok, both of whom arrived with wounds and paralysis due to accidents. Thanks to the exceptional care provided in TOLFA’s HDU, they are both walking again, albeit in their own unique ways! Please see photos attached.

You have also helped puppies Skippy and Stubbs. Skippy suffered from brain damage from an accident, and Stubbs lost part of his front leg, also from an accident. They are both now recovered thanks to the special care of the HDU aand will remain as shelter dogs. One of the many cats helped recently was the beautiful Petra who was suffereing from paralysis and who now, with the help of physiotherapy, is back on her paws again.

Your support of this project is having a real and tangible positive impact on the lives of the many animals we treat.

Thank you for helping them.
