Dear Friends and Supporters,
We are happy to announce that our first women's leadership class will launch this June! Fifteen young women (age 15 - 25) will join us for three months of trainings, workshops, and independent projects as they develop their personal and community leadership skills.
Topics will include local politics in Myanmar, political advocacy, and participatory research, as well as personal finance, sexual health, and family planning. The program will provide young women with support, guidance, and confidence to be leaders in their communities. At the end of the workshop, each participant will complete a leadership project, either independently or in a small group, that demonstrates her new skills to her wider community.
We look forward to sharing this journey with you!
With gratitude,
Carolyn
