Hermano Pedro Social Works Foundation

The Hermano Pedro Foundation continues to focus efforts on raising donations for Obras Sociales del Hermano Pedro Hospital located in Antigua, Guatemala.

The first six months of 2026 we have provided necessary equipment and supplies to Obras Sociales.  We were able to supply the hospital with the following equipment:

1. LED surgical light for one of the operating rooms providing clear, uniform and shadow-free illmination, enhancing visibility for physicians when performing procedures with greater precision and safety for patiens attending the various medical campaigns held at the Hospital of Obras Sociales del Santo Hermano Pedro.

2. Flexible ureteroscopy set has increased the hospital capacity to resolve urological conditions, especially kidney and ureteral stones, reduction of invasive procedures - promoting faster and less painful recovery for patients and strengthening the technical capabilities of the medical staff.

3.  Vital sign monitors for Gastroenterology Clinic has enhanced patient safey during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures through the continuous monitoring of blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, and other vital signs.

4.  Purchased 44 pairs of crutches for low-income patients requiring mobility equipment. These crutches are on a loaned basis and can be returned after the patient has regained mobility after recovery.  These crutches can be disinfacted, inspected and reused, enabling a benefit to a greater number of patients over time.
