Cervical Cancer Screening - Ghana +1 new country

Our GlobalGiving Fundraiser to bring affordable cervical cancer screening to women in Ghana and 1 new country is still open for donations.  

HERhealthEQ and Lutech Medical have partnered to deploy Lutech LT-300 colposcopes to local community-based healthcare clinics in Ghana and 1 more country.  When fully deployed, the program will have an impact of more than 50,000 women each year. We have successfully deployed this project already in Costa Rica and Ghana and are working on expanding Ghana and adding 1 more country.  We are ACTIVELY raising money to support our project.

Women around the world lack adequate cervical cancer screening technology… Our project will change that.

We have already deployed 10 colposcopes to both Costa Rica and Ghana and they are implemented, trained, and in use…. It’s very exciting to see!!  We have recieved our quarterly impact reports and it's use and impact is vast... over 50,000 women have access to cervical cancer screening.  

Our program trains and equips local providers and health clinics that will offer screening as part of the preventative wellness practice in several regions of each country we are deploying in. HERhealthEQ aims to ensure that more women have a chance of early cervical cancer detection and successful treatment outcomes. Ensuring women have quality screening for cervical cancer is our goal, especially from a cancer that is easily detected and treatable when detected early.

This campaign will remain open until the goal is met.

Our GlobalGiving Fundraiser to bring affordable cervical cancer screening to women around the world, in 7 more countries is still open for donations.  

HERhealthEQ and Lutech Medical have partnered to deploy Lutech LT-300 colposcopes to local community-based healthcare clinics in 10 countries (including Costa Rica, Indonesia, Fiji, Ghana, South Africa, Zambia, and more). This project will have the ability to screen 400,000 women for cervical cancer in just two years. When fully deployed, the program will have an impact of more than 400,000 women each year. We have successfully deployed this project already in Costa Rica and Ghana and are working on several more including Zambia and Indonesia.  Ghana expansion and Zambia planning is in process and we are ACTIVELY raising money to support our project.

This campaign will remain open until the goal is met. If we can secure 520 new donors, contributing $100 to our fundraiser we will be able to complete another country deployment.
