Project Report – Virreyes Hockey: Empowering Girls Through Sport
Thanks to your generous support, 150 girls aged 6 to 18 continue to train every week as part of Virreyes Hockey, developing discipline, teamwork, and confidence both on and off the field.
Every weekend, our teams participate in friendly matches and local tournaments. With your help, we’ve been able to provide safe school transportation, allowing players to travel to other venues and compete with pride. After each match, they enjoy healthy snacks shared during the traditional “third half,” reinforcing the spirit of community and friendship.
This year, your contributions also made it possible for the girls to go on a sports tour, a transformative experience that strengthened bonds among teammates, deepened their commitment to healthy living, and reminded them of the power of collective effort.
Through hockey, these young athletes are not only learning to play a sport — they’re learning resilience, solidarity, and self-belief. Your ongoing support makes this journey possible.
Thank you for believing in them and helping us build a brighter, stronger community through sport.
