The fate of nations changes if we all do a bit on our part. Similarly, founded in 2007, The Health Foundation is doing its part with a Vision, to make Pakistan Hepatitis free & with a mission to create awareness and promote healthy practices for management of various diseases in the general public, with an initial focus on Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C.

THF is member of the World Hepatitis Alliance and CEVHAP. It also works in coordination with W.H.O and is part of the GAVI Civil Society Organization Alliance for Immunization in Pakistan. THF is also very proud to serve as Member of National Technical Advisory Group on Hepatitis Prevention and Control in Pakistan.

THF is a group of likeminded individuals who have joined hands to bring about some positive change in the lives of the poor and marginalized.

 Eye Opening Statistics *:

Over 19 million people suffer from Hepatitis in Pakistan

Every 10th person is Hepatitis B or C positive in Pakistan

Every 30 seconds, one person dies from Hepatitis in the Asia Pacific region (3x higher than HIV/AIDS)

Pakistan ranks the 2nd highest in Hepatitis prevalence around the globe

The Health Foundation with this project would be taking a step up the ladder towards its goal in making a significant difference in decreasing the prevalence of Hepatitis B/C. It envisions a community-based intervention, linked to a Hepatitis center at Rashidabad, which would carry out this mission for a preselected population, through its well run and established programs integrated at one point, linking up the community and the services of the THF Hepatitis Centre. The beneficiaries in this case would be the community of villages in UC where Rashidabad project exists
