SAI Offers Medical Services to Underprivileged Children & Mothers
In Venezuela, there is insufficient money to provide medical care for poor. The public hospitals have a shortage of resources to care for expectant mothers and children. That's the reason South American Initiative (SAI) is offering free medical care to children; many who have never seen a doctor since the day they were born.
Children can be seen by a doctor, get a prescription for medication and over the counter drugs, without charge. Expectant mothers are offered free ultrasound images of their baby in their womb. These images create joy and excitement for the expectant parents and the whole family.
SAI Offers New Medical Programs at the Clinic
SAI offers a medical program for expectant mothers. Pregnant women receive an ultrasound, gynecological exam and prenatal vitamins during their pregnancy.
Women and Children Get Free Medical Services
During the past two months, SAI medical staff has provided free medical checkups to 27 children, 45 orphans, 16 women and distributed 16 containers of baby formulas and bottles of prenatal vitamins for pregnant women.
Thanks to your generous donations, we are able to provide life changing services to expectant mothers and children.
