Peru's farmer families with their vision for the future have Sown Prosperity with 11,000 hectares of forest trees, which improve the climate, reverse soil degradation, shelter animals, reduce pressure on natural forests and capture large amounts of CO2. Their contribution to climate change mitigation is undoubted, however, families need sustainable income while these trees grow, their solution is to harness the potential for CO2 sequestration through Carbon Credits with a technical study.
The families need sustainable income while these trees grow, that's why part of their solution is to take advantage of the potential of CO2 capture through Carbon Credits, for this we need a technical study, and these studies are very expensive, the families cannot afford it, that's why we are supporting them.
With your help it will be possible to do this first study on 11,000 hectares (1000 trees per hectare), to know how many tons of pollutants the trees can capture, and to know how many are in good health (phytosanitary), to make maps of these forests, to measure the growth in height and diameter, and their ages. These trees continue to grow and give the planet and humanity the hope and opportunity to breathe cleaner and purer air. We will continue to plant and progressively make a great forest.
