As we continue advancing through the year, Fundación JUCONI has remained committed to creating safe, nurturing, and empowering environments for children, adolescents, and their families. During this reporting period, our efforts have focused on strengthening both community and school-based spaces, while continuing to provide comprehensive therapeutic support to families participating in our Family Therapeutic Intervention Program.
One of our most significant achievements has been the consolidation of our community and school clubs. These spaces have become much more than extracurricular activities—they now serve as protective environments where children and adolescents develop social skills, strengthen positive relationships, and experience a sense of belonging. By working simultaneously within schools and communities, we are helping improve coexistence, promote peaceful conflict resolution, and foster healthier environments where children can learn, play, and grow safely.
Our Family Therapeutic Intervention Program has also continued providing regular in-home psychosocial support to participating families. Beyond these therapeutic visits, we believe that healing is strengthened through positive shared experiences. In celebration of Children's Day on June 1st, children enrolled in the program participated in a series of recreational outings to places such as Mr. Joy, the cinema, and Parque Histórico. For many of them, these were unique opportunities to enjoy leisure activities in safe environments, create joyful memories with their families and peers, and experience moments of happiness that reinforce the emotional recovery process supported by JUCONI's therapeutic interventions.
These shared experiences are not simply recreational events; they are intentionally integrated into our intervention model. Positive memories, healthy family interactions, and opportunities to experience trust, play, and joy contribute to strengthening emotional bonds, building resilience, and helping children develop new references of safety and wellbeing that complement the therapeutic work carried out by our multidisciplinary team.
Throughout this period, our work has continued to demonstrate that sustainable change is achieved by combining therapeutic support with opportunities for children and families to experience positive relationships within their homes, schools, and communities. We remain deeply grateful for the continued trust and support of our partners, whose commitment makes it possible for us to continue building protective environments where every child can grow, dream, and thrive free from violence.
