Helping Disadvantaged Youths through Education

We have partnered with Annai Home Orphanage in Shivagangai, India, to help bridge the digital divide for 270 orphaned girls.
From networking to online education to the dissemination of children's and women's rights, technology plays a powerful role in the empowerment of socio-economically disadvantaged women and children. We believe that it is important to acclimate children to new technologies at a young age, and we are working to do so by donating computers.
Without an equal path to educational and technical competence, it is challenging for girls and women to participate in our digital societies and the global community. Ann Foundation seeks to bridge the digital and educational divide by providing computer training and English language lessons to children.
Most developing countries struggle to offer basic education, let alone computer training, to the children of their low-income citizens. Access to computers and the Internet is also limited

Uniforms and shoes are items that wear out. Currently, these children have only one pair of shoes and one uniform which they must wear for a week at a time. By the end of the week, that uniform is very soiled! 
Please, help 270 children receive a set of uniforms along with shoes and socks. Each set costs a mere USD $18-00
20 computers:  Each computer costs USD $450.00 dollars,  bringing the total budget for this project to USD $13,860.00. 
Our classes will commence as soon as we set up the infrastructure.
