Update on ‘Help 100 children in India fight cerebral palsy’
(Project #36518 from Balajothi Centre for the Disabled)
Funding goal $10,000 / Funds raised to date $ 6098.48
Project Report due on Apr 26, 2024 / Report sent on Apr 22, 2024
Dear Donor,
This Project is designed to spread awareness on the disability of Cerebral Palsy. Cerebral palsy is a group of conditions that affect movement and posture. It is caused by damage that occurs to the developing brain, most often before birth. Symptoms appear during infancy or preschool years and vary from very mild to serious levels. Children with cerebral palsy may have exaggerated reflexes.
We identify such children and conduct therapy and training sessions for the affected and for their families and organize Workshops/Seminars on the subject. This is also being done on a regular basis through online sessions. With continuous Training and Rehab programs, last year alone more than 25 children with Cerebral Palsy have benefited, giving much relief to their families.
THANK YOU, DONOR, for your generous contribution of $ 6098.48 to date as against the funding goal of $10,000 towards this noble cause.
Balajothi thanks GlobalGiving for their sustained training and guiding in helping educate families with such disabled children, through their motivational and training programs. THANK YOU GLOBALGIVING !!
