(Project # 36518 from Balajothi Centre for the Disabled)
Project goal $ 10,000 / Funds raised to date $ 1,120
Project Report due date Dec 17, 2021 / Report sent on Dec 8, 2021
Very briefly, Cerebral Palsy (CP) is one of the most common and fast growing disabilities worldwide. It is a disability affecting the coordination of the brain with body movements. Children with CP find it difficult to coordinate various limbs for activities like walking, eating, and all the other Activities of daily Life (ADL). Since it is a lifelong disability, it is very essential to train these children in order to help them function independently. Through this Project we aim to : Spread awareness on the disability. Conduct Therapy /training sessions for the affected and for their families and Organize Workshops and Seminars.
Current pandemic has affected the economic conditions of people all over the globe and raising funds in this situation is a big challenge. However Balajothi thanks YOU DONOR for your selfless giving of $1200 raised to date for this cause. Please share this cause with your friends for helping us on a regular basis as we depend on you to help these children.
Balajothi thanks GlobalGiving for their sustained efforts to raise funds towards this cause.
