Challenge

The problem of social abandonment is considered a form of violence against children and adolescents, it is a violation of the full exercise of their Human Rights derived from the omission of care directly or indirectly by their family, social and government environment. This constitutes a serious problem in our country that is reflected in the high rates of child violence, extreme poverty and marginalization.

Solution

PACO IAP implemented a holistic care program creating violence-free spaces where children can develop effectively. Our program offers attention to physical and emotional health, residency, healthy eating and education. The training workshops give them the possibility to improve their job opportunities in the future.

Long-Term Impact

The stay of boys and adolescents in PACO IAP gives them the opportunity to break the cycles of violence from which they come. We provide them with the necessary tools to be able to have a better future with greater job opportunities and an independent life project.
